Illinois High School Softball - Oregon bounces Polo
May 13, 2023: Oregon, IL 61061 Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 16-13 record. They take the field next when they host Winnebago for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Oregon will face a Indians squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Indians record now stands at 16-9.
With the loss, Polo falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Marcos host Morrison (Morrison, IL) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 14-9. Morrison won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Orion (Orion, IL)
