May 13, 2024: Suffolk, VA 23434 The Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) baseball trounced the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), 11-4 in Monday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Raiders play the Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Wednesday, May 15. Warwick will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Phantoms enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 9-1 league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA).
The Warriors now sport a 4-16 record. They take the field next when they host King's Fork for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, May 14. Nansemond River will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-9 non-league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-13.
