May 13, 2024: Asbury Park, NJ 07712 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ) and the host Asbury Park Bishops (Asbury Park, NJ), saw Manchester Township's volleyball squad beat Asbury Park by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Manchester Township upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Hawks host Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) to play the Lions in a Shore - B South bout on Tuesday, May 14. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Lacey Township won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Middletown South (Middletown, NJ)
The Bishops now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Keyport for a Shore - B North bout on Tuesday, May 14. Asbury Park will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 3-12.
