The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) and the visiting Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA), saw Central's volleyball squad nip Longmeadow by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Commerce (Springfield, MA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 14. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Commerce won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Athol (Athol, MA)

The Lancers now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they host East Longmeadow for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 16.
