Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), 8-4 in a league test.

The Oakers now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Johnston for a Division 4 test on Wednesday, May 15. Coventry will face a Panthers squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 0-11.

In their next game, the Lions face the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a Division 4 test, on Friday, May 17. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Northmen come into the test with a 12-0 record after their 12-6 league win over Scituate (North Scituate, RI).
