New Jersey High School Lacrosse - High Point held off by Morris Catholic
May 13, 2024: Sussex, NJ 07461 Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ), 14-13 in a non-league battle.
The Crusaders now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 14. Morris Catholic will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 7-8.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks (Washington, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 14. High Point will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 15-1 league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ).
