May 13, 2024: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 14. Ottumwa will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
The Panthers now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danville for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 17. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Bears team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Davenport Central (Davenport, IA). The Bears record now stands at 4-8.
