Tennessee High School Softball - Alcoa bounces South Greene
May 13, 2024: Alcoa, TN 37701 Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Tornadoes now sport a 36-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Greene for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Alcoa will face a Rebels squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 13-7.
With the loss, South Greene falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Alcoa (Alcoa, TN) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a record of 34-3. Alcoa won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN)
