May 13, 2024: Auburn, MA 01501 The Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA) softball nipped the host Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA), 6-5 in Monday's league bout.
The Pirates (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Leicester (Leicester, MA). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Leicester held off Sutton (Sutton, MA), 11-4, in a non-league bout.
The Rockets now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Bay Path RVT for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 16. Auburn will confront a Minutemen squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA). The Minutemen record now stands at 10-7.
