Maine High School Softball - Hampden gets by Edward Little
May 13, 2024: Hampden, ME 04444 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) and the visiting Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME), witnessed Hampden's softball squad tip Edward Little by a count of 11-10.
The Broncos now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Skowhegan for a Class A North match on Wednesday, May 15. Hampden will face a River Hawks squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The River Hawks record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Edward Little moves to 6-5 on the season. The Red eddies host Brewer (Brewer, ME) to face the Witches in a Class A North match on Wednesday, May 15. The Witches go into the match with a record of 6-5. Brewer won 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Hermon (Hermon, ME)
