Minnesota High School Softball - Wabasso holds off Russell-Tyler-Ruthton
May 13, 2024: Tyler, MN 56178 Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Rabbits now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson County Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. Wabasso will face a Huskies squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN) to face the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 1-10. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN)
