In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) baseball squad the host Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), by a tally of 4-2.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Hazleton Area will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-16 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA).
