New York High School Baseball - East nips Red Jacket
May 13, 2025: Rochester, NY 14609 The East Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Red Jacket Red Jacket to 5 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sutherland for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. East will play a Knights team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Mendon (Pittsford, NY). The Knights record now stands at 12-5.
With the defeat, Red Jacket drops to 4-9 on the year. The Red jacket host Harley Allendale Columbia (Rochester, NY) to play the Wolves in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - West match on Wednesday, May 14. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 1-5. Harley Allendale Columbia lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Whitman (Rushville, NY)
