New York High School Baseball - McQuaid Jesuit edges Fairport
May 13, 2025: Fairport, NY 14450 The McQuaid Jesuit Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Fairport Red Raiders to 5 in the Knights non-league win on Tuesday.
The Knights now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian Brothers Academy for a non-league test on Friday, May 16. McQuaid Jesuit will play a Brothers team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 8-4.
With the defeat, Fairport drops to 5-4 on the year. The Red raiders host Gates Chili (Rochester, NY) to play the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 6-12. Gates Chili lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY)
