New York High School Lacrosse - Palmyra-Macedon bounces Avon
May 13, 2025: Palmyra, NY 14522 The Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Avon Braves to 4 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now hold a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a Section 5 Finger Lakes challenge on Thursday, May 15. Palmyra-Macedon will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 12-9 league loss to Wayne (Ontario Center, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Avon falls to 4-8 on the year. The Braves host Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Mynderse Academy won 12-9 in their recent league challenge against Newark (Newark, NY)
