The Johnnies now hold a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Glenn for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. Johnstown-Monroe will clash with a Little Muskies squad coming off a 18-13 non-league win over Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH). The Little Muskies record now stands at 14-3.
With the loss, Newark falls to 6-11 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15.
