Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), 28-6 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Marvin Ridge upgrades its record to 15-9 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to face the Huskies in a non-league outing on Friday, May 16. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 17-3. Hough won 18-9 in their recent non-league outing against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)

With the loss, Mount Tabor falls to 5-14 on the year.
