The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders triumphed over the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks lacrosse team by a tally of 18-3 in Tuesday's league match.

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) in a Section 9 Division I match, on Wednesday, May 21. Monroe-Woodbury will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record.

The Goldbacks (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Middie Bears enter the Section 9 Division I match with a 0-12 record. In their last match, Middletown was overwhelmed by Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 14-5, in a non-league match.
