Iowa High School Soccer - Prairie knocks off Waterloo West
May 13, 2025: Waterloo, IA 50702 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) and the host Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA), saw Prairie's soccer squad knock off Waterloo West by a count of 4-1.
The Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Marshalltown Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA), 4-4, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wahawks battle the Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA) in a Mississippi Valley - Valley battle, on Friday, May 16. Waterloo West will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-8 record after their 4-1 league loss to Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA).
