The McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) softball nipped the host Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH), 11-10 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kirtland for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 14. McDonald will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 7-11.
