In Tuesday's league test, the Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI), by a tally of 17-6.

Next, the Knights clash with the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley test, on Thursday, May 15. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to advance on its 18-4 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 11-9 record after their 20-0 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI).

The Mavericks (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains go into the Lakes Valley test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Kettering was routed by West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI), 15-3, in a non-league test.
