In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Absegami Braves softball team scored a tight 9-3 win over the Washington Township Minutemen.

The Braves (10-16) will now prepare for their match against Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ). The Spartans come into the Cape-Atlantic - National match with a 8-14 record. In their last match, Holy Spirit was routed by Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ), 12-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Minutemen confront the Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 14. Washington Township will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record.
