Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Samson Tigers (Samson, AL), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Ariton improves its record to 25-14 on the year. The Purple Cats travel to Blacksher (Uriah, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, May 14.
