In Wednesday's non-league test, the Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH), by a count of 16-0.

Next, the Eagles meet the Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 16. Bishop Watterson will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Green Wave go into the test with a 17-9 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH).
