The Glastonbury Tomahawks (Glastonbury, CT) softball routed the visiting Conard Chieftains (West Hartford, CT), 9-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tomahawks (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Newington (Newington, CT). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Newington held off Hartford Public (Hartford, CT), 24-7, in a non-league bout.

The Chieftains now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Wethersfield for a non-league bout on Monday, May 17. Conard will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
