Kentucky High School Softball - Marion County can't hold off Holy Cross
May 14, 2021: Louisville, KY 40216 The Holy Cross Cougars softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Marion County Knights to 6 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Holy Cross improves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Valkyries in a non-league game on Monday, May 17. The Valkyries come into the game with a record of 4-10. Sacred Heart lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY)
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 15. Marion County will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Commanders come into the game with a 6-8 record after their 10-3 league win over Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY).
