The McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA) baseball nipped the visiting Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA), 8-7 in Saturday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 18. McConnellsburg will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Bisons enter the contest with a 4-12 record after their 15-3 league loss to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).
