Massachusetts High School Baseball - Somerville loses to Winchester
May 14, 2022: Winchester, MA 01890 The Winchester Sachems crushed the visiting Somerville Highlanders baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Sachems now possess a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington for a Middlesex - Liberty bout on Tuesday, May 17. Winchester will face a Minutemen team coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA). The Minutemen record now stands at 9-10.
Next, the Highlanders face the Lynn Classical Rams (Lynn, MA) in a Greater Boston bout, on Monday, May 16. Somerville will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 13-3 record after their 11-1 league win over Everett (Everett, MA).
