McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to David Anderson for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. McDonald will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Columbiana (Columbiana, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-5.
