May 14, 2024: Kankakee, IL 60901 Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) and the visiting Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), saw Kankakee's baseball squad beat Thornton by a margin of 7-0.
Coming up next, the Kays play the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 17. Kankakee will attempt to better on its 19-11 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 9-15 record after their 14-0 league win over Lanphier (Springfield, IL).
