Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Scranton Prep upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Cavaliers host Delaware Valley (Milford, PA) to battle the Warriors in a Lackawanna 1 test on Thursday, May 16. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 7-18. Delaware Valley won 11-7 in their recent league test against Valley View (Archbald, PA)

With the defeat, Riverside falls to 14-6 on the season.
