Michigan High School Softball - Reading bounces Concord
May 14, 2024: Reading, MI 49274 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Reading Rangers (Reading, MI) and the visiting Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI), witnessed Reading's softball squad prevail over Concord by a count of 11-1.
The Rangers now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Maple Valley for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 15. Reading will face a Lions squad coming off a 1615-0 non-league loss to Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Concord moves to 1-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Homer (Homer, MI) to face the Trojans in a Big 8 match on Thursday, May 16. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 13-2. Homer won 17-8 in their recent league match against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI)
