In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Archbishop McNicholas Rockets baseball team scored a close 4-0 victory over the New Richmond Lions.

The Rockets (15-7) will now prepare for their game against Princeton (Cincinnati, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 17-9 record. In their last game, Princeton was overwhelmed by Edgewood (Trenton, OH), 10-6, in a non-league game.
