May 14, 2025: Lakewood, OH 44107 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Solon Comets (Solon, OH) and the host Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH), saw Solon's baseball team gain a win over Lakewood by a tally of 7-2.
The Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Twinsburg held off Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rangers face the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 17. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH).
