In Wednesday's league contest, the host Mahwah Thunderbirds lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Tenafly Tigers.

The Thunderbirds (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ). The Rams go into the Jacobson contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Ramsey held off Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ), 13-3, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 17. Tenafly will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.
