The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) and the host Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), observed Fitch's softball team get by Old Lyme by a tally of 2-1.

The Falcons (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 5-9 record. In their last bout, Bacon Academy was nipped by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 5-1, in a non-league bout.
