New York High School Softball - Oriskany sneaks past Poland
May 14, 2025: Oriskany, NY 13424 The Oriskany Skyhawks softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Poland Tornadoes to 10 in the Skyhawks league win on Wednesday.
The Skyhawks now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. Oriskany will confront a Emerald Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY). The Emerald Knights record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Poland moves to 7-5 on the season. The Tornadoes host Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY) to confront the Indians in a Section 3 Center State III battle on Monday, May 19. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 5-4.
