New York High School Softball - Sauquoit Valley bounces West Canada Valley
May 14, 2025: Sauquoit, NY 13456 The Sauquoit Valley Indians (Sauquoit, NY) softball routed the visiting West Canada Valley Nighthawks (Newport, NY), 19-7 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Indians now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 15. Sauquoit Valley will encounter a Comets team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Morrisville-Eaton (Morrisville, NY). The Comets record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, West Canada Valley moves to 3-6 on the season. The Nighthawks host New York Mills (New York Mills, NY) to encounter the Marauders in a Section 3 Center State III outing on Thursday, May 15. The Marauders come into the outing with a record of 0-5. New York Mills lost 20-7 in their recent league outing against Morrisville-Eaton (Morrisville, NY)
