Colorado High School Soccer - Vail Mountain knocks off Colorado Rocky Mountain
May 15, 2021: Carbondale, CO 81623 Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Colorado Rocky Mountain Oysters (Carbondale, CO), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gore Rangers face the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a 3A Western Slope challenge, on Thursday, May 20. Vail Mountain will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 8-1 league win over Rifle (Rifle, CO).
The Oysters now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Grand Valley for a 2A Western Slope challenge on Tuesday, May 18. Colorado Rocky Mountain will face a Cardinals team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
