Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Old Lyme tipped by Branford
May 15, 2021: Branford, CT 06405 Branford Hornets (Branford, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), 7-5 in a non-league battle.
The Hornets now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lyman Hall for a Southern Connecticut battle on Monday, May 17. Branford will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 13-9 league loss to Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 8-4.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Shoreline battle, on Tuesday, May 18. Old Lyme will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 6-7 record after their 12-6 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT).
