Massachusetts High School Baseball - Williston Northampton nudged by Deerfield Academy
May 15, 2023: Deerfield, MA 01342 The Deerfield Academy Big Green nudged the visiting Williston Northampton Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 13-12 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Big Green now hold a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon Old Farms for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 17. Deerfield Academy will face a Beavers team coming off a 21-2 league win over Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 13-4.
Next, the Wildcats face the Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA) in a Western New England bout, on Wednesday, May 17. Williston Northampton will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT).
