North Carolina High School Soccer - Pinecrest nudges Broughton
May 15, 2023: Southern Pines, NC 28387 Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 18. Pinecrest will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC).
The Capitals now possess a 9-11 record.
