Maine High School Softball - Lisbon bounces Carrabec
May 15, 2023: Lisbon Falls, ME 04252 Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME), 17-2 in a league challenge.
The Greyhounds now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hall-Dale for a Class C South challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Lisbon will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Carrabec falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Cobras host Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME) to battle the Mustangs in a Class C South challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 11-0. Monmouth Academy won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Winthrop (Winthrop, ME)
