Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they host Triton Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Covenant Christian will face a Tigers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Whiteland (Whiteland, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Perry Meridian falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, IN) to face the Artesians in a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Artesians enter the challenge with a record of 13-9. Martinsville won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN)
