New York High School Softball - Eden bounces Griffith Institute
May 15, 2023: Eden, NY 14057 Eden Raiders (Eden, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), 11-3 in a league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Newfane for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Eden will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Albion (Albion, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-15.
With the loss, Griffith Institute falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Griffins host Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY) to battle the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 2-16. Allegany-Limestone lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Olean (Olean, NY)
