Frankton Eagles (Frankton, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record.

With the loss, Tipton falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN) to face the Bronchos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Bronchos enter the challenge with a record of 13-14. Lafayette Jefferson won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Richmond (Richmond, IN)
