Maryland High School Softball - Glenelg holds off Middletown
May 15, 2023: Middletown, MD 21769 Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Gladiators now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they host Middletown for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. Glenelg will battle a Knights squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Knights record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Middletown falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD) to battle the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a record of 17-4.
