Massachusetts High School Softball - Medford bounces Malden
May 15, 2023: Malden, MA 02148 Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA), 14-5 in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Everett for a Greater Boston challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Medford will face a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Revere (Revere, MA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 16-1.
With the loss, Malden falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Golden tornados travel to Somerville (Somerville, MA) to face the Highlanders in a Greater Boston challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Somerville lost 19-1 in their recent league challenge against Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA)
