New York High School Softball - Monroe-Woodbury bounces Valley Central
May 15, 2023: Central Valley, NY 10917 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) and the visiting Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), witnessed Monroe-Woodbury's softball squad tip Valley Central by a count of 5-1.
The Crusaders now sport a 17-4 record.
With the loss, Valley Central moves to 11-7 on the season. The Vikings host Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 17-2. Minisink Valley won 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY)
