Missouri High School Baseball - West County defeats Jefferson
May 15, 2024: Festus, MO 63028 West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Jefferson Blue Jays (Festus, MO), 6-1 in a league test.
With the win, West County upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Valley Park (Valley Park, MO) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 21. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 20-4. Valley Park won 11-1 in their recent league test against Bishop DuBourg (St. Louis, MO)
With the defeat, Jefferson falls to 14-10 on the season.
